{"id":10032,"name":"Ancestors: The Humankind Odyssey","summary":"Ancestors: The Humankind Odyssey is a single-player survival game played from a third-person view and set in an open world. Players control a member of a hominid clan and manage its needs by eating, drinking, and sleeping while facing predators and other dangers in the wild. Exploring new places and being hunted can trigger a state of fear, which is offset by rewarding actions such as crafting tools and making discoveries. As the clan learns and grows, players unlock new skills through a neural development system and can switch between clan members, passing acquired abilities to future generations. The game has no structured narrative campaign and instead lets players shape their own experience.","rating":71,"metascore":64,"metascoreSource":"metacritic","userScore":60,"userScoreSource":"metacritic","releaseYear":2019,"firstReleaseDate":"2019-08-27T00:00:00.000Z","releaseDate":"August 27, 2019","coverUrl":"https://images.igdb.com/igdb/image/upload/t_cover_big/co1rg8.jpg","coverUrlFull":"https://images.igdb.com/igdb/image/upload/t_1080p/co1rg8.jpg","artworkUrl":"https://images.igdb.com/igdb/image/upload/t_720p/ar6c9.jpg","artworkAspect":1.7777777777777777,"developers":["Panache Digital Games"],"publishers":["Fictions","Private Division"],"developerCompanies":[{"id":5370,"name":"Panache Digital Games"}],"publisherCompanies":[{"id":64808,"name":"Fictions"},{"id":14035,"name":"Private Division"}],"genres":["Role-playing (RPG)","Adventure","Indie"],"platforms":["Xbox Series X|S","PlayStation 4","Nintendo Switch 2","PC (Microsoft Windows)","PlayStation 5","Xbox One"],"hltb":null,"websites":[{"key":"gog","url":"https://www.gog.com/game/ancestors_the_humankind_odyssey"},{"key":"wikia","url":"https://ancestors.fandom.com/wiki/Ancestors:_The_Humankind_Odyssey_Wiki"},{"key":"twitter","url":"https://twitter.com/AncestorsGame"},{"key":"wikipedia","url":"https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ancestors:_The_Humankind_Odyssey"},{"key":"youtube","url":"https://www.youtube.com/c/AncestorsGame"},{"key":"official","url":"https://ancestorsgame.com/en/"},{"key":"steam","url":"https://store.steampowered.com/app/536270/Ancestors_The_Humankind_Odyssey/"},{"key":"playstation","url":"https://store.playstation.com/en-us/concept/232664"},{"key":"facebook","url":"https://www.facebook.com/AncestorsGame"},{"key":"instagram","url":"https://www.instagram.com/ancestorsgame"},{"key":"epicgames","url":"https://www.epicgames.com/store/en-US/product/ancestors/home"},{"key":"reddit","url":"https://www.reddit.com/r/ancestors"},{"key":"twitch","url":"https://www.twitch.tv/directory/game/Ancestors%3A%20The%20Humankind%20Odyssey"},{"key":"xbox","url":"https://www.xbox.com/en-us/games/store/ancestors-the-humankind-odyssey/BTT48FGF6SWM"}],"externalGames":[{"key":"epicgames","url":"https://www.epicgames.com/store/p/ancestors"},{"key":"steam","url":"https://store.steampowered.com/app/536270"},{"key":"twitch","url":"https://www.twitch.tv/directory/game/Ancestors%3A%20The%20Humankind%20Odyssey"},{"key":"gog","url":"https://www.gog.com/en/game/ancestors_the_humankind_odyssey"},{"key":"playstation","url":"https://store.playstation.com/en-us/concept/232664"},{"key":"igdb","url":"https://www.igdb.com/games/ancestors-the-humankind-odyssey"},{"key":"metacritic","url":"https://www.metacritic.com/game/ancestors-the-humankind-odyssey/"}],"videos":[{"videoId":"UwipY6QtM9U","name":"Trailer","kind":"trailer"},{"videoId":"4E1jVWUMQiA","name":"Trailer","kind":"trailer"},{"videoId":"MgombKx56fc","name":"Trailer","kind":"trailer"},{"videoId":"66hYICACR3g","name":"Trailer","kind":"trailer"},{"videoId":"gPvoghEm9Ow","name":"Gameplay video","kind":"gameplay"},{"videoId":"ucyi2WT7XwQ","name":"Teaser","kind":"other"}],"screenshots":[{"thumbUrl":"https://images.igdb.com/igdb/image/upload/t_screenshot_med/sc5stq.jpg","fullUrl":"https://images.igdb.com/igdb/image/upload/t_screenshot_huge/sc5stq.jpg"},{"thumbUrl":"https://images.igdb.com/igdb/image/upload/t_screenshot_med/sc6lkb.jpg","fullUrl":"https://images.igdb.com/igdb/image/upload/t_screenshot_huge/sc6lkb.jpg"},{"thumbUrl":"https://images.igdb.com/igdb/image/upload/t_screenshot_med/sc5stp.jpg","fullUrl":"https://images.igdb.com/igdb/image/upload/t_screenshot_huge/sc5stp.jpg"},{"thumbUrl":"https://images.igdb.com/igdb/image/upload/t_screenshot_med/sc5str.jpg","fullUrl":"https://images.igdb.com/igdb/image/upload/t_screenshot_huge/sc5str.jpg"},{"thumbUrl":"https://images.igdb.com/igdb/image/upload/t_screenshot_med/sc5stn.jpg","fullUrl":"https://images.igdb.com/igdb/image/upload/t_screenshot_huge/sc5stn.jpg"},{"thumbUrl":"https://images.igdb.com/igdb/image/upload/t_screenshot_med/sc5sto.jpg","fullUrl":"https://images.igdb.com/igdb/image/upload/t_screenshot_huge/sc5sto.jpg"}]}
