{"id":1266,"name":"Assassin's Creed III","summary":"Assassin's Creed III is an open-world action-adventure game set primarily in 18th-century Colonial America during the American Revolution. Players control two characters across the story: Haytham Kenway, a British Templar operating during the French and Indian War, and his half-Mohawk son Ratonhnhaké:ton (also known as Connor), who becomes an Assassin. Gameplay takes place across Boston, New York City, and a large wilderness frontier, with free-running, stealth, and combat using weapons including tomahawks, muskets, bows, and the series' signature Hidden Blades. The game introduces naval combat through Connor's captaining of a warship, as well as hunting, a homestead economy system, and seasonal weather that affects gameplay. A modern-day framing narrative follows Desmond Miles using the Animus to relive his ancestors' memories.","rating":74,"metascore":81,"metascoreSource":"igdb","userScore":74,"userScoreSource":"igdb","releaseYear":2012,"firstReleaseDate":"2012-10-30T00:00:00.000Z","releaseDate":"October 30, 2012","coverUrl":"https://images.igdb.com/igdb/image/upload/t_cover_big/co1xii.jpg","coverUrlFull":"https://images.igdb.com/igdb/image/upload/t_1080p/co1xii.jpg","artworkUrl":"https://images.igdb.com/igdb/image/upload/t_720p/axadnolswhopo8glmhza.jpg","artworkAspect":1.8151388888888889,"developers":["Ubisoft Montreal"],"publishers":["Ubisoft Entertainment"],"developerCompanies":[{"id":38,"name":"Ubisoft Montreal"}],"publisherCompanies":[{"id":104,"name":"Ubisoft Entertainment"}],"genres":["Adventure"],"platforms":["PlayStation 3","PC (Microsoft Windows)","Wii U","Xbox 360"],"hltb":null,"websites":[{"key":"facebook","url":"https://www.facebook.com/assassinscreed"},{"key":"official","url":"https://www.ubisoft.com/"},{"key":"twitch","url":"https://www.twitch.tv/directory/game/Assassin's%20Creed%20III"},{"key":"wikia","url":"https://assassinscreed.fandom.com/wiki/Assassin's_Creed_III"},{"key":"twitter","url":"https://x.com/assassinscreed"},{"key":"instagram","url":"https://www.instagram.com/assassinscreed"},{"key":"youtube","url":"https://www.youtube.com/@assassinscreed"},{"key":"xbox","url":"https://www.xbox.com/en-us/games/store/assassins-creed-iii/bwfv8kcknnfd"},{"key":"reddit","url":"https://www.reddit.com/r/assassinscreed/"},{"key":"discord","url":"https://discord.gg/AC"},{"key":"wikipedia","url":"https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Assassin's_Creed_III"},{"key":"steam","url":"https://store.steampowered.com/app/208480"}],"externalGames":[{"key":"youtube","url":"https://gaming.youtube.com/game/UCoFr6HLGUzu1B3Pgb6lrAwQ"},{"key":"xbox","url":"https://marketplace.xbox.com//en-US/Product/Assassins-Creed-III/66acd000-77fe-1000-9115-d802555308ae"},{"key":"twitch","url":"https://www.twitch.tv/directory/game/Assassin's Creed III"},{"key":"steam","url":"https://store.steampowered.com/app/208480"},{"key":"igdb","url":"https://www.igdb.com/games/assassin-s-creed-iii"},{"key":"metacritic","url":"https://www.metacritic.com/game/assassin-s-creed-iii/"}],"videos":[{"videoId":"ls-J1pbTKyQ","name":"Connor Story Trailer","kind":"trailer"},{"videoId":"GdSmH0CxJ4o","name":"E3 Trailer","kind":"trailer"},{"videoId":"19rfT-6aI8k","name":"Launch Trailer","kind":"trailer"},{"videoId":"TpBL-g9-Ss4","name":"Gameplay Demo","kind":"gameplay"}],"screenshots":[{"thumbUrl":"https://images.igdb.com/igdb/image/upload/t_screenshot_med/mazwxafpn4trr1egmj7j.jpg","fullUrl":"https://images.igdb.com/igdb/image/upload/t_screenshot_huge/mazwxafpn4trr1egmj7j.jpg"},{"thumbUrl":"https://images.igdb.com/igdb/image/upload/t_screenshot_med/fjsea0ufemtie04czf9m.jpg","fullUrl":"https://images.igdb.com/igdb/image/upload/t_screenshot_huge/fjsea0ufemtie04czf9m.jpg"},{"thumbUrl":"https://images.igdb.com/igdb/image/upload/t_screenshot_med/nyy6injtxg9grtmuoa1m.jpg","fullUrl":"https://images.igdb.com/igdb/image/upload/t_screenshot_huge/nyy6injtxg9grtmuoa1m.jpg"},{"thumbUrl":"https://images.igdb.com/igdb/image/upload/t_screenshot_med/ccfvfvn8w5ucmtaw9uu2.jpg","fullUrl":"https://images.igdb.com/igdb/image/upload/t_screenshot_huge/ccfvfvn8w5ucmtaw9uu2.jpg"},{"thumbUrl":"https://images.igdb.com/igdb/image/upload/t_screenshot_med/lwbc2mifimzfmyxt6r56.jpg","fullUrl":"https://images.igdb.com/igdb/image/upload/t_screenshot_huge/lwbc2mifimzfmyxt6r56.jpg"},{"thumbUrl":"https://images.igdb.com/igdb/image/upload/t_screenshot_med/okyz7qmbwrbqr7s3yxsh.jpg","fullUrl":"https://images.igdb.com/igdb/image/upload/t_screenshot_huge/okyz7qmbwrbqr7s3yxsh.jpg"},{"thumbUrl":"https://images.igdb.com/igdb/image/upload/t_screenshot_med/tjocflec2doowuhlgt3b.jpg","fullUrl":"https://images.igdb.com/igdb/image/upload/t_screenshot_huge/tjocflec2doowuhlgt3b.jpg"},{"thumbUrl":"https://images.igdb.com/igdb/image/upload/t_screenshot_med/umu9a0ptzj84rdzc5wa0.jpg","fullUrl":"https://images.igdb.com/igdb/image/upload/t_screenshot_huge/umu9a0ptzj84rdzc5wa0.jpg"},{"thumbUrl":"https://images.igdb.com/igdb/image/upload/t_screenshot_med/aghxxmr2mpygyq5ftldb.jpg","fullUrl":"https://images.igdb.com/igdb/image/upload/t_screenshot_huge/aghxxmr2mpygyq5ftldb.jpg"},{"thumbUrl":"https://images.igdb.com/igdb/image/upload/t_screenshot_med/mlynnq49vemvljigsx79.jpg","fullUrl":"https://images.igdb.com/igdb/image/upload/t_screenshot_huge/mlynnq49vemvljigsx79.jpg"},{"thumbUrl":"https://images.igdb.com/igdb/image/upload/t_screenshot_med/jmyedumbxkdyfudgzaay.jpg","fullUrl":"https://images.igdb.com/igdb/image/upload/t_screenshot_huge/jmyedumbxkdyfudgzaay.jpg"},{"thumbUrl":"https://images.igdb.com/igdb/image/upload/t_screenshot_med/ok2u0qqlarohz7rx8eo7.jpg","fullUrl":"https://images.igdb.com/igdb/image/upload/t_screenshot_huge/ok2u0qqlarohz7rx8eo7.jpg"}]}
