{"id":36952,"name":"Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus","summary":"Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus is the eleventh installment of the Wolfenstein series and a sequel to the 2014's Wolfenstein: The New Order. The game follows the main protagonist, William Joseph \"B.J.\" Blazkowicz, in his efforts to ignite a Second American Revolution.\n\nThe game is played from a first-person perspective and most of its levels are navigated on foot. The story is arranged in chapters, which players complete in order to progress. A binary choice in the prologue alters the game's entire storyline; some characters and small plot points are replaced throughout the timelines. The game features a variety of weapons, most of which can be dual wielded. A cover system is also present.","rating":82,"metascore":87,"metascoreSource":"metacritic","userScore":74,"userScoreSource":"metacritic","releaseYear":2017,"firstReleaseDate":"2017-10-26T00:00:00.000Z","releaseDate":"October 26, 2017","coverUrl":"https://images.igdb.com/igdb/image/upload/t_cover_big/co21c5.jpg","coverUrlFull":"https://images.igdb.com/igdb/image/upload/t_1080p/co21c5.jpg","artworkUrl":"https://images.igdb.com/igdb/image/upload/t_720p/fgk6lrgjwhxn76kfcz4v.jpg","artworkAspect":1.7777777777777777,"developers":["MachineGames"],"publishers":["Bethesda Softworks"],"developerCompanies":[{"id":1242,"name":"MachineGames"}],"publisherCompanies":[{"id":16565,"name":"Bethesda Softworks"}],"genres":["Shooter","Adventure"],"platforms":["PlayStation 4","PC (Microsoft Windows)","Xbox One","Nintendo Switch"],"hltb":null,"websites":[{"key":"reddit","url":"https://www.reddit.com/r/Wolfenstein"},{"key":"nintendo","url":"https://www.nintendo.com/games/detail/wolfenstein-ii-the-new-colossus-switch/"},{"key":"xbox","url":"https://www.xbox.com/en-us/games/store/wolfenstein-ii-the-new-colossus/C4LLMHFQ1BXQ"},{"key":"playstation","url":"https://store.playstation.com/en-us/concept/229533"},{"key":"facebook","url":"https://www.facebook.com/Wolfenstein.eu"},{"key":"twitter","url":"https://twitter.com/wolfenstein"},{"key":"wikia","url":"http://wolfenstein.wikia.com/wiki/Wolfenstein_II:_The_New_Colossus"},{"key":"steam","url":"https://store.steampowered.com/app/612880"},{"key":"discord","url":"https://discord.gg/invite/E7wVXdU"},{"key":"gog","url":"https://www.gog.com/game/wolfenstein_ii_the_new_colossus"},{"key":"twitch","url":"https://www.twitch.tv/directory/game/Wolfenstein%20II:%20The%20New%20Colossus"},{"key":"wikipedia","url":"https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wolfenstein_II:_The_New_Colossus"},{"key":"official","url":"https://wolfenstein.bethesda.net/?utm_source=Steam"}],"externalGames":[{"key":"youtube","url":"https://gaming.youtube.com/game/UCX8IjAiMOvVxxkMc_aP-XAQ"},{"key":"twitch","url":"https://www.twitch.tv/directory/game/Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus"},{"key":"gog","url":"https://www.gog.com/en/game/wolfenstein_ii_the_new_colossus"},{"key":"steam","url":"https://store.steampowered.com/app/612880"},{"key":"playstation","url":"https://store.playstation.com/en-us/concept/229533"},{"key":"igdb","url":"https://www.igdb.com/games/wolfenstein-ii-the-new-colossus"},{"key":"metacritic","url":"https://www.metacritic.com/game/wolfenstein-ii-the-new-colossus/"}],"videos":[{"videoId":"MTVnCCnJh-0","name":"Announcement Trailer","kind":"trailer"},{"videoId":"Pz04WeJin_k","name":"Trailer","kind":"trailer"},{"videoId":"2PVod121OHo","name":"Gameplay Trailer","kind":"trailer"},{"videoId":"Zgb-iaHEOUY","name":"Nintendo Switch Launch Trailer","kind":"trailer"},{"videoId":"Ru_PrDRyqOQ","name":"Gameplay Video","kind":"gameplay"}],"screenshots":[{"thumbUrl":"https://images.igdb.com/igdb/image/upload/t_screenshot_med/vpso35dm66hwfanmtvpk.jpg","fullUrl":"https://images.igdb.com/igdb/image/upload/t_screenshot_huge/vpso35dm66hwfanmtvpk.jpg"},{"thumbUrl":"https://images.igdb.com/igdb/image/upload/t_screenshot_med/hs7edr5zhrdvyclst6os.jpg","fullUrl":"https://images.igdb.com/igdb/image/upload/t_screenshot_huge/hs7edr5zhrdvyclst6os.jpg"},{"thumbUrl":"https://images.igdb.com/igdb/image/upload/t_screenshot_med/z7xnj7gsn7jnb7d0sbj5.jpg","fullUrl":"https://images.igdb.com/igdb/image/upload/t_screenshot_huge/z7xnj7gsn7jnb7d0sbj5.jpg"},{"thumbUrl":"https://images.igdb.com/igdb/image/upload/t_screenshot_med/o38yjyvnmakxzdgn7bc8.jpg","fullUrl":"https://images.igdb.com/igdb/image/upload/t_screenshot_huge/o38yjyvnmakxzdgn7bc8.jpg"},{"thumbUrl":"https://images.igdb.com/igdb/image/upload/t_screenshot_med/sctkp5.jpg","fullUrl":"https://images.igdb.com/igdb/image/upload/t_screenshot_huge/sctkp5.jpg"},{"thumbUrl":"https://images.igdb.com/igdb/image/upload/t_screenshot_med/sctkp6.jpg","fullUrl":"https://images.igdb.com/igdb/image/upload/t_screenshot_huge/sctkp6.jpg"},{"thumbUrl":"https://images.igdb.com/igdb/image/upload/t_screenshot_med/sctkp7.jpg","fullUrl":"https://images.igdb.com/igdb/image/upload/t_screenshot_huge/sctkp7.jpg"}]}
