{"id":487,"name":"Silent Hill: Downpour","summary":"Silent Hill: Downpour is the eighth Silent Hill video game installment and the last fully-released video game in the series. Just like its predecessors, Downpour combines exploring abandoned surroundings, talking to characters, and solving puzzles, set against a slow, psychological horror theme. Different from the previous game Silent Hill: Shattered Memories is the return of combat. The player often has to fight off monsters using a variety of weapons, but he can carry only one melee and one ranged weapon who can deteriorate over time. Entirely new to the series is the introduction of a weather system: there is a full day and night cycle and rain often warns the player of danger that is approaching. It is possible to hide until the weather becomes better again.","rating":69,"metascore":64,"metascoreSource":"metacritic","userScore":68,"userScoreSource":"metacritic","releaseYear":2012,"firstReleaseDate":"2012-03-13T00:00:00.000Z","releaseDate":"March 13, 2012","coverUrl":"https://images.igdb.com/igdb/image/upload/t_cover_big/co2vyo.jpg","coverUrlFull":"https://images.igdb.com/igdb/image/upload/t_1080p/co2vyo.jpg","artworkUrl":null,"artworkAspect":null,"developers":["Vatra Games"],"publishers":["Konami"],"developerCompanies":[{"id":162,"name":"Vatra Games"}],"publisherCompanies":[{"id":129,"name":"Konami"}],"genres":["Adventure"],"platforms":["PlayStation 3","Xbox 360"],"hltb":null,"websites":[{"key":"wikipedia","url":"https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Silent_Hill:_Downpour"},{"key":"twitch","url":"https://www.twitch.tv/directory/category/silent-hill-downpour"},{"key":"wikia","url":"https://silenthill.fandom.com/wiki/Silent_Hill:_Downpour"},{"key":"official","url":"http://www.konami.com/games/silenthill/silenthill8/"}],"externalGames":[{"key":"xbox","url":"https://marketplace.xbox.com//en-US/Product/Silent-Hill-Downpour/66acd000-77fe-1000-9115-d8024b4e0823"},{"key":"twitch","url":"https://www.twitch.tv/directory/game/Silent Hill: Downpour"},{"key":"igdb","url":"https://www.igdb.com/games/silent-hill-downpour"},{"key":"metacritic","url":"https://www.metacritic.com/game/silent-hill-downpour/"}],"videos":[{"videoId":"zj1xwO6lBGY","name":"Trailer","kind":"trailer"},{"videoId":"5LRNRkuDw20","name":"Trailer","kind":"trailer"},{"videoId":"Mp0gm9rDLrI","name":"Gameplay Video","kind":"gameplay"}],"screenshots":[{"thumbUrl":"https://images.igdb.com/igdb/image/upload/t_screenshot_med/sc897w.jpg","fullUrl":"https://images.igdb.com/igdb/image/upload/t_screenshot_huge/sc897w.jpg"},{"thumbUrl":"https://images.igdb.com/igdb/image/upload/t_screenshot_med/sc897u.jpg","fullUrl":"https://images.igdb.com/igdb/image/upload/t_screenshot_huge/sc897u.jpg"},{"thumbUrl":"https://images.igdb.com/igdb/image/upload/t_screenshot_med/sc897y.jpg","fullUrl":"https://images.igdb.com/igdb/image/upload/t_screenshot_huge/sc897y.jpg"},{"thumbUrl":"https://images.igdb.com/igdb/image/upload/t_screenshot_med/sc8980.jpg","fullUrl":"https://images.igdb.com/igdb/image/upload/t_screenshot_huge/sc8980.jpg"},{"thumbUrl":"https://images.igdb.com/igdb/image/upload/t_screenshot_med/sc897x.jpg","fullUrl":"https://images.igdb.com/igdb/image/upload/t_screenshot_huge/sc897x.jpg"},{"thumbUrl":"https://images.igdb.com/igdb/image/upload/t_screenshot_med/sc897z.jpg","fullUrl":"https://images.igdb.com/igdb/image/upload/t_screenshot_huge/sc897z.jpg"},{"thumbUrl":"https://images.igdb.com/igdb/image/upload/t_screenshot_med/sc897v.jpg","fullUrl":"https://images.igdb.com/igdb/image/upload/t_screenshot_huge/sc897v.jpg"}]}
